A Construction Business Web Design

The client required a slick and professional website for their building and construction business. The business is split into two areas. Firstly, a conventional building company that builds houses, extensions, and so forth. Secondly, the business restores and renovates listed properties and has done extensive work with reputable sites such as Blenheim Palace. Their website needed to reflect these areas of expertise and convey the high-quality of their work.

The company already had a logo that was black and yellow, this was to set the colour palette for the design. Smooth animations and a functional contact form would be required to convey luxury and functionality.

Our Web Design for the Client

The 10 page site was completed within 3 weeks and delivered to the highest standard. The site has a smooth functionality and uses dynamic data to fill in the building services that G&M provides. Each building service is designed to have an identical page layout so that the users get a great experience. Sticky forms allow the user to scroll the page whilst still being able to contact the client and a full page menu that animates itself in and out of the screen provides a high-end feel.

By having a cutout section for the background and animated icons to display the various building and construction services available we were able to make the web design slick and unique to the client.

Full Page Menu

Part of the brief was to have striking elements that gave a luxury feel. We feel that the full page menu does just that! The left half slides down and the right slides up on clicking the menu button, then on exit they both slide away to reveal the page. The animations change for mobile to provide the best user experience across multiple devices. There are contact details in the menu so that users can reach out to the client from the menu too.

Dynamic Data Pages

The services that the client provides needed to be presented in a high-end manner, a dynamic data web design was implemented to allow this. Each service has data (words, images, and more) entered in the backend of the website and this is rendered to the user as they click through. This style of design allows for a very smooth user experience as each service appears in an identical format. Moreover, there is a dynamic query that provides the other services to the client at the bottom of the page without displaying the current service. This allows the client to click through each service from any other without further navigation.
