Ice Skating Lessons in Swindon

The client wanted a bold and striking website for his ice skating business. Not only that, but as a Team GB figure skater, he wanted the site to show off his abilities and promote him. It was clear that we would need a high contrast colour palette and pages such as Sponsorship with images and videos of what he was capable of. All of this would need to tie in to the site seamlessly to provide a strong design for potential customers or sponsors. He also required the site to perform highly on Google to drive conversions to him.

Our Web Design for the Client

This 7 page web design uses a strong orange colour offset against the white background and with crisp images supplied by the client which allows this website to flourish. The sectors are divided by coloured lines and the simplicity of the site has allowed the site to have very fast loading times. there are stunning images throughout to help SEO and to allow a user to see how skilled he is and therefore attract clients to him. An on-screen review area was set up so that his clients can leave reviews from their phone or their laptop. A calendar and booking portal was integrated into the site too, this was later removed at the client’s request. The site ranks at the top of Google for multiple keywords and phrases. The client’s business is predominantly driven from the website as a result.

Video Section

The client wanted an area to display the videos of recent competitions that he had competed at. This area allowed both sponsors and potential clients to assess how skilled he is and therefore aimed to convert viewers to sponsors or clients.

The client wanted an area that was unique to potential sponsors and to say thank you to current supporters. This page allows those looking to support him to find out more about him in a competitive setting rather than as a coach.
